International exhibitions

posted by jessicarose55 1 month ago

In those international exhibitions we met many kinds of potential cooperators from different countries. This French partner seemed very pleasant and trustworthy and showed genuine interest in our products. [...] Our product suited their product range perfectly. We had a new, innovative product that other European firms imitated later on and it was of great interest for this retailer. We felt this was a good opportunity, and we were even happier when this partner contacted us himself soon after the exhibitions, and our cooperation started soon after that. Please visit an article if you are interested in essay writing, papers writing, assignment writing services.

Learning situations

One of the key arguments for self-assessment is that it provides an effective means of developing critical self-awareness (Nunan 1988: 116). A resulting advantage of this is that learners are better able to set realistic goals and direct their own learning. A second argument is that, in a learner-centred approach, by definition, learners need to be involved in all the processes of learning, including the process of evaluation (Little 2005: 322). The major assumption underlying the learner-centred philosophy is that it is impossible to teach learners everything they need to know and learning does not stop outside the classroom. Therefore, it is of value to teach learners skills that they can transfer to other learning situations, including skills in ªª The Author 2010. The study had two objectives

posted by jessicarose55 2 months ago

The study had two objectives. The first was to elicit and identify the primary school pupils’ metacognitive knowledge about listening in English. We alsosought to find out how well older children were able to articulate their metacognitive knowledge. The second objective was to investigate how useful process-based activities were for teaching listening to the pupils. Traditional paper-based alternatives

posted by jessicarose55 2 months ago

Like more traditional paper-based alternatives, the material allows for practice and production, both in the class and beyond, in fairly controlled situations. With websites now being the primary delivery mode, frequently available at no cost, the resource can be seen as providing ‘anywhere, anytime’ learning material. Such websites would seem then to ideally match the needs of our ‘digital native students’ (Prensky 2001) who have known nothing but digitalized technologies. Domesticating strategies

posted by jessicarose55 2 months ago

Translating for children is increasingly being recognized as a challenge worthy of as much attention as translating for adults. One of the key issues debated in this domain is the choice between ‘foreignizing’ and ‘domesticating’ strategies in relation to the pedagogic or, more generally, ideology forming or ideologyreflecting potential of children’s literature. However, the vast majority of the frequently asked questions we receive about content, handing in, layout, administrative processes and so on are covered in this book. Please take a few minutes to consult it to make sure your query is not answered here before picking up the phone or hitting the send button on your email. Please click here to reading an article if you take an interest in essay writing services.
